I did not get a Type Cover when I bought my Surface Go, because I was concerned about the price, somewhat, and then also I wanted to try a folding Bluetooth keyboard instead. The fabric is nice, and so far it does seem reasonably stain resistant. It is luxurious to the touch, somewhere in between suede, felt, and microfiber. The weight is nice, the keyboard is excellent with only a tiny amount of flex, and the trackpad is also excellent.
The one minor design flaw is that it does not quite flip around so that you can flip it back for tablet mode and have the keys concealed on the inside - the dock on the Surface Go is just slightly asymmetric.
It is close enough that you can basically do this, though. Overall, I strongly recommend this, it really ups the ante with the Surface Go and pushes it much closer to being a full replacement for my very good 13" notebook.
The Surface Go by itself is a great tablet but when you add the keyboard it just becomes a million times better. I love it! As my headline states, if you're going to buy the surface Go or any Surface tablet don't skimp on getting the keyboard. Windows is a great Operating system very versatile but it is not optimized for tablet usability. Even when you enable tablet mode you'll realize at some point you'll want to use the standard windows desktop layout and the keyboard and tracker is a must then.

Not an issue at all. It just pops in and connects. There is no tome to wait for pairing or any delay. It is working great and I have no problems at all. There's nothing major to dislike about the Alcantara cover, it is an overall great cover and keyboard combo and you should get it to complete the look of your new Surface Go.
The cover material on the out-facing side feels really good on the hands, similarly for the keyboard side but not as good as the out-facing side. The keyboard feels nice to type on, there is little key travel and for a tiny keyboard it feels surprisingly comfortable to type. You do get a bit thrown off from time to time since the layout is packed tight but you get used to it very quickly.

The S. Book is almost two times heavier than the SP4. Book has. I haven't tried the S. Book's keyboard, but the SP4's keyboard feels great to type on and other reviewers have said both keyboards are amazing. Book without the keyboard only has a battery life of 3 hours, and although it can be used with the keyboard 'wrapped' around the back, I think that it'll only be a hassle for me to deal with. Book every time I want to use it in tablet mode. Now onto the actual Surface Pro 4 Review. I love the SP4. The SP4 fits my needs the best by far. The SP4 replaces both my textbooks and notebooks.
For me, this is a big deal because I no longer have to carry around my notebooks, textbooks, and supplemental writing materials highlighters, etc. The Surface Pen tips can be replaced with other pen tips to change the writing "feedback" feeling but the stock pen tip feels great. OneNote keeps all my notes organized and being able to access them from any device is incredibly convenient.
The screen is not too small like the iPad, neither is it bulky like a laptop. The magnet on the left side of the SP4 is surprising strong and holds the Surface Pen well. The kickstand works perfectly and stays in the position I set it to.
The SP4 Type Cover feels great and protects your screen when you aren't using it. Gaming shouldn't be the main reason you buy the SP4, but it could run some games if you decide to do so. That being said, the gaming experience was rather unpleasant. You should consider the Surface Book if you plan to game on-the-go frequently. Software-wise, I don't have much to comment on. It looks and performs exactly like Windows 10 should on a normal desktop or laptop.
I've never used the Microsoft Store and don't intend to so I don't know much about the apps that are available on the SP4. The only con I found with this device is the fact that it only has a single USB port. It's inconvenient when I'm using the SP4 with a mouse and I need to use my flash drive. I haven't had any overheating issues and I can't find any issues with the build quality. In closing, I don't think anyone else offers the performance and quality that the Surface Pro 4 has in the same lightweight and thin chassis.

The surface has been great! It's powerful and has a great design and function. I use it for teaching as well as writing up homework solutions for my physics classes.
I use the wireless connector so all I have to do is hit connect and I can have my surface displayed on the whiteboard. I can walk around and write notes. Microsoft is innovating and doing great things lately. Apple used to be the ones doing the innovation but have gone stale. Microsoft really stepped it up here and hit it out of the park.
It seems that microsoft has chased down many of the issues that werent really problems with the surface 3 but they were room for improvement ideas. Such as Bitlocker being off giving you the choice rather to use it or not. The magnet holding the pen on the side is really strong. And my personal favorite as i like to attach a usb blu ray and external hard drive, the usb drive is full power. It runs a blu ray drive without having to plug in the power port to the usb on the power brick or using a powered hub.
That alone is just great. The soft tip on the pen is a nice touch, dont know if i will use it more but its nice to draw with. The surface pro 4 is now the only desktop replacement in a tablet form factor. It is unique and powerfull. Now if Microsoft would just find a way to market the device. Honestly if it was an apple product words like magic or game changing would be thrown around like black turtlenecks and horn rim glasses. But i digress. Its a great product. Be sure to get all your updates done before you get to playing with it though.

I'm very new to DJing and this is my first controller that I've purchased. A lot of my friends are DJs so I've had a lot of input about different brands. Everyone has their preferances and that makes it hard to decide what to buy.
I decided to buy the DDJ-SR2 because I've researched in general Pioneer controllers are reliable and sturdy, I don't necessarily need a 4 channel mixer right now because a lot of my more experienced friends have them and I can just hook up to their controllers, it's small and compact I'm a small person with small hands , and it has a lot of features that are a step up from beginner controllers, but also not super confusing if you are a beginner.
Since having it, I'll have to say it's very beautiful and smooth. I feel very lucky every time I play it. There are a few downsides about it that don't necessarily bother me right now and that is the pitch faders are very small and because of that it makes it hard to be exact with the bpm in a timely manner.
The jog wheels are definitely weird to scratch on. I'm new to scratching, but it just doesn't feel right, I'm not sure how to explain it, I think the wheels feel tight maybe, but I'm not sure.

It's probably a little excessive for a complete beginner, but if you can stretch your budget then go for it. It is a little bit more costly than other DJ surfaces, but it comes bundled with Serato Pro, if you don't get this included then you'll need to pay a monthly fee to upgrade from the Lite version of the software, so take that into consideration when pricing this product up.
